We’re pleased to announce our support for the National Open Art charity

At Hyphen, we support creatives by helping to turn their concepts into reality – Often our role is one of executive architect; collaborating with a client’s design studio and providing local code compliance, construction packages, tendering and site quality control – Our support for the NOA is an extension of this practice.

For the 2017 exhibition we have designed a temporary installation for the reception space in Room 1 on the ground floor. Our concept for the space aims to celebrate the links between art and architecture, whilst drawing attention to the soaring height of the spatial context.

“Hyphen are honoured to support the NOA and the emerging artists it promotes. As architects, we’re always curious as to how artists draw inspiration from the built environment and our collaboration is a great opportunity to explore that dialogue between these two fields of creative endeavour. We hope that our contribution provides an environment that is stimulating, hospitable and welcoming; a reimagining of an otherwise industrial space.”
