Appointment of Wayne Taylor as director

The Board of Hyphen is pleased to announce the appointment of Wayne Taylor as director, effective from 1st July 2018.  Wayne first worked for the company in 1997, re-joining after a period outside of the industry. Since his return, Wayne has taken on the account management for some of Hyphen’s most influential clients, including Michael Kors and Tesla. As well as Wayne’s board-level responsibilities, Wayne will join Alan Cheyne in the management of Hyphen’s London office. Commenting on the appointment, Alan noted; “I am pleased that Wayne will be more closely involved in supporting and growing our business in London. He has already demonstrated an enviable reputation through his ability to develop and manage project teams and I’m sure our clients will welcome his promotion to the Board.”

 

Retirement of John Mullan

After 38 years with the company, John Mullan will retire from the Board and his position of Group Finance director on 30th June 2018. John joined the company in 1980 and was one of the founding directors of our first limited company. John has been instrumental in growing our business in mainland Europe, particularly in the data centres sector and more recently, as an ambassador for Hyphen in North America whilst based with MBH Architects in Alameda, California. Eddie Miles, CEO, said: “The board are immensely grateful for John’s contribution to the company, not least in his previous role as Managing Director. John laid the foundation for our network of Hyphen offices and established the ethos of collaboration that runs through our work today. We wish him a very happy retirement and all the best for the future”.
